The distributor specialises in imports and exports and has offices in Argentina and Uruguay.

It is looking for UK producers of shortenings to export to Argentina and other countries in Latin America.

You should be able to provide the product in buckets or boxes of approximately 10 to 15 kilograms.

In Argentina, the product’s customs Code is 15179090.

The national agency responsible for registration in Argentina is INAL, the National Food Institute, which is an agency of ANMAT, the National Administration of Drugs, Food, and Medical Technology, Ministry of Health.

It regulates consumer-ready food products, health supplements, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, with the exception of wine.

The cost for registration is approximately US$ 600 per product and takes an average of 6 months to be completed.
