PROJECT DESCRIPTION :
The contract consists of repairing the Royal and Industrial pumping stations and the Curé-Valois drinking water meter chamber, which is briefly described as follows:

rehabilitation of the pumping mechanics of the Royal and Industrial wastewater pumping stations;
dismantling and electrical and ventilation work at the Royal and Industrial wastewater pumping stations;
replacement of the drinking water flow meter and repair of the Curé-Valois meter chamber;
instrumentation and control with telemetry at the Royal and Industrial wastewater pumping stations and at the Curé-Valois drinking water meter chamber;
related civil engineering work.

Documents are available at a cost determined by the SEAO. Invoicing for printing and delivery will be done by SEAO. Plans and specifications are non-refundable.
The Municipality is not liable for the fact that written notices or documents conveyed by electronic means are incomplete or contain any error or omission whatsoever. Consequently, before submitting a bid, every bidder must ensure that it obtains all the documents relating to this call for tenders.
Virginie Landreville, P. Eng. is the person responsible for this call for tenders. The latter is responsible for providing all information concerning the call for tenders. Thus, any potential bidder or bidder must contact this single person to obtain any clarification regarding the call for tenders. Only bids from contractors with an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental market liberalization agreement is applicable, in a province or territory covered by the agreement, will be considered for contract award. Contractors must hold the required licence under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B. 1.1).
To be acceptable, the bid must be accompanied by a certified cheque or bid bond of equal value and valid for ninety (90) days from the bid opening date. The amount must be payable to the client and represent a minimum of 10% of the total cost of the bid.
In accordance with the Public Purchasing Act, the deadline for submitting the plains to the Municipality for this call for tenders is July 15, 2019. The deadline for responding to complaints is August 5, 2019.
Sealed bids must be received at the Owner's office, Attention: Richard B. Morasse, before 11:00 a.m. on August 8, 2019. Bids will be opened publicly at 11:00 a.m. on August 8, 2019, at the same location.
The Owner does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received, nor to incur any costs or obligations of any kind towards the bidder or bidders.
