The City of Longueuil is requesting bids for:

UPGRADING OF THE NORMANDY REGULATORS - LAUREL OVERFLOW - AND OTHER WORK ON THE SEWER SYSTEM IN THE AGGLOMERATION OF LONGUIL


Opening: Thursday, May 16, 2019

Individuals and companies interested in this contract may obtain tender documents (plans, specifications, forms, etc.) as of Tuesday, April 16, 2019, by contacting the Electronic Tendering System (ETS) on the Internet at the following address: www.seao.ca or by contacting customer service at 514 856-6600 in the Montreal area or 1 866 669-7326 for the outside region.

Documents can be obtained at the cost established by the OAC fee schedule.

Please note that our business hours are Monday to Friday, except on statutory holidays, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%, taxes included) of the bid value, valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days. The bid must also be accompanied by a letter of intent from an insurance company to provide a performance bond and a bond for the contractor's obligations for wages, materials and labour, each equivalent to fifty percent (50%, taxes included) of the total cost of the contract awarded, valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days. These documents must be certified originals.

Each bid must be submitted at the tax counter, call for tenders, bid, payment counter, located at Longueuil City Hall, 4250 chemin de la Savane, level 200, Longueuil, Québec, by Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. (time stamped at the tax counter, call for tenders, bid, bid, payment counter), in an opaque envelope, sealed and identified as the model attached to the bid documents named: "Identification for return envelope".

Submissions are open from 11:01 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 in Room 101, Level 100 of Longueuil City Hall.

The City Council of the City of Longueuil does not undertake to accept either the best or any of the bids received, without incurring any obligation or costs of any kind towards the bidder or bidders. The City may, if it is advantageous for it to do so, disregard any failure to comply with the bid if such failure does not breach the rule of equality between bidders and it is not required to provide reasons for the acceptance or rejection of any bid.
