Description
Iarnród Éireann-Irish Rail (“IE”), invites applications to participate in the pre-qualification process for the Upgrade of CET System at Drogheda Maintenance Depot.
Irish Rail (IE) operate a railcar maintenance depot for the Commuter fleet in Drogheda, Louth, Ireland which services 164 railcars. At this location there is a requirement to de-tank the effluent tanks on the railcars on a 2 day cycle. The current system consists of 2 x 6000lts tanks and 3 x vacuum pumps operated by a vacuum switch.
The system is at its end of life and requires an upgrade including but not limited to a new vacuum receiver, discharge chopper pump, control panels, valves and pipework.
IE are seeking expressions of interest from companies interested in (i) completing this work and (ii) providing maintenance support for 3 years thereafter
Contractor staff will be required to complete a Personal Track Safety course in the Training Centre –Inchicore.
