Canada - Uniprint Licenses

Description

1. Introduction
As part of the "UNIPRINT Printing Solution" project, the CISSS of the Bas-Saint-Laurent is requesting a price proposal in order to obtain prices for the addition of "UNIPRINT" licenses (the most recent version) to its current inventory.

2. Background information
The CISSS of the Lower St. Lawrence has a complex technological infrastructure, resulting from the consolidation of its information resources (IR) and the various systems that existed before its birth in 2015. Work on the consolidation and integration of IRs is ongoing and not all of it is complete. With more than a thousand printers and multifunction devices, divided into a number of different models. The complexity of managing and making the printing service available has become a major challenge. As it is today, the CISSSBSL has decided on the need to expand the use of the centralized management tool for the deployment and administration of its printer fleet.
The tool used must meet several criteria to better manage printer deployment more easily and efficiently. The goal is a significant direct gain for both IT staff and users of information systems. The expanded deployment of such a tool is intended to be a lever to pursue and achieve more quickly our performance objectives of a high-performance IT system and thus, operate in CISSS mode.

3. Object
Acquisition of new Uniprint licenses to meet the needs of CISSS Bas-Saint-Laurent. These new licences will have to be added to the inventory of existing licences held by CISSS Bas-Saint-Laurent.

4. Duration
The expected duration of the contract will be five (5) years.
