Description

Replacement of the Saintonge Hospital Centre's heavy automated transport.
The Saintonge CH is currently equipped with a heavy automated transport installation consisting of 5 AGVs with wire-guided navigation, four AGV logistics stations, five floor stations. The departure and arrival stations are equipped with ground guide rails. There are two modes of transport: supply (delivery of the containers from the logistics stations to the care units) and de-supply (return of the containers from the care units to the logistics stations). The purpose of this consultation is to replace the current system with a technology that meets the minimum daily transport needs. Objectives: to have a reliable, flexible AGV transport system, with a surplus vehicle and optimal maintenance and operation. No guidance and communication technology is required. Maintenance and operation will be carried out in-house by staff from the Swiss Federal Office of Transport, so training will have to be provided for in the contract, as well as the supply of spare parts.
