The infrastructure of the vehicle fleet is characterized by an appropriate stock of spare parts and has performance and intervention times that ensure rapid repair of minor damage, e.g. due to parking damage, even outside normal workshop hours. A responsiveness 24/7 for the control center is required.Maintenance and care of medical equipment Each vehicle of Arztruf Hamburg is equipped with emergency medical equipment specially procured by the KVH, with which bridging immediate measures in the area of heart / circulation, control of cardiac activity, ventilation, securing and monitoring the oxygen supply, and wound care can be carried out. The emergency medical equipment is specified in detail by the KVH and is constantly being further developed in cooperation with the physicians working in the emergency service. The equipment is stored in a backpack specially designed for emergency services and can be easily taken to the patient by the driving personnel. The backpack also includes an AED (automatic external defibrillator) and a carrying bag with an oxygen unit. The maintenance, completion and care of this equipment provided by the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Hamburg (Hamburg Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians) is the responsibility of the driving personnel, with the exception of the equipment that is subject to a safety technical inspection (STK).
