Description
Design and Craft Council Ireland (DCCI) intends to establish a panel of trainers and mentors who can design and deliver training content that will assist start-ups, early phase and diversifying craft and design enterprises to enhance the competitiveness, innovation and growth of micro craft and design enterprises nationally. The appointed training and mentoring providers will take responsibility for the delivery of the training and will make contact with participants prior to programme commencement. They will also be responsible for the production of reports at the programme conclusion and will be required to carry out course qualitative and quantitative evaluation, as determined by DCCI during the programme and to provide DCCI with details of same. DCCI and partner LEOs will take responsibility for the promotion of programmes and workshops and the collection of fees. Places on all courses and workshops will be bookable via the relevant LEO partner. Any payments relating to venues will be paid directly by the partnering LEO. DCCI in partnership with LEOs runs building craft and design training programmes in response to industry needs as well as one day stand-alone workshops on pertinent topics. The provision of relevant industry informed quality training content is a central component of the DCCI activities.
