Description

1 General Information1.1 Depending on the respective seminar, the seminars shall be held, as a rule, from Monday to Saturday between 8.30 a.m. and 9 p.m. at the location of the respective event partner in the German-speaking area or at the location of the German Wine Institute, Platz des Weines 2, 55294 Bodenheim. If necessary, individual arrangements can be made between lecturers and participants after consultation with the client. If necessary, a seminar can also begin and end in the morning or at lunchtime with half a training day each.1.2 A training day generally consists of at least eight hours (including breaks of one hour in total); half a training day consists of at least four hours (including breaks of half an hour in total).1.3 The learning contents of the seminars to be held and the seminar documents to be issued will be finally specified and agreed upon between the parties after the conclusion of the contract on the basis of the submitted offer.1.4 The contractor will ensure that the training is carried out conscientiously. In particular, he undertakes to impart to the participants the skills and knowledge listed in the respective material plan and to carefully monitor the measure.1.5 At the end of the respective seminar, the participants shall receive a certificate (certificate of participation) issued by the customer together with the contractor.1.6 The participants of certain seminars, in particular in the seminar "Recognised Consultant for German Wine", shall take a final test at the end of the seminar and before obtaining the certificate. This will be prepared by the contractor himself in consultation with the customer and corrected by the respective lecturer. The results of the performance test shall be presented to the principal immediately after the seminar has been held.1.7 The evaluation of the respective event shall be based on a questionnaire prepared by the contractor in consultation with the principal (seminar evaluation), which shall be presented to the individual participants by the contractor at the end of a seminar. The completed questionnaires are to be presented to the customer at the end of the seminar.1.8 No later than 10 working days (Monday to Friday) after the award of contract, the contractor must discuss and plan details, including curricula, procedure and dates, with the customer personally in Bodenheim for the year 2021. The dates and procedures of firmly scheduled seminars for the following years will be discussed and determined with the customer in September of the previous year at the latest.1.9 The contractor must be informed of the holding of a seminar (in particular in the case of enquiries from organisers during the year) at least 4 weeks before the respective planned date of the event.1.10 A change of the lecturers named in the submitted offer is to be avoided and is only permissible for an important reason and with the consent of the customer. It is not an important reason if a lecturer is to be assigned to another project/order. If, contrary to expectations, the respective choice of lecturer turns out to be unsuitable during the term of the contract (e.g. after a preliminary discussion or due to complaints by the seminar participants), the client has the option of requesting the assignment of another lecturer.1.11 The contractor is obliged to provide the participants with suitable, up-to-date and German-language training documents with which they can work in practice. The training documents are generally provided by the customer, but should be continuously checked by the contractor for necessary updates and adjustments to the respective seminar schedule and corrected if necessary in consultation with the customer.1.12 If the minimum number of eight participants in a seminar is not reached, the seminar can be cancelled by the customer. Seminar dates may still be postponed or cancelled by the customer even after the dates of the seminars for the lecturers have been fixed. In the event of cancellation up to 10 calendar days before the start of the seminar, the contractor cannot claim any costs from the client. If the training volume remains below the advertised training days, then no costs can be claimed against the client for this, as well as for calling up fewer seminars than planned in advance.1.13 The seminars take place in the training rooms of the client, Platz des Weines 2, 55294 Bodenheim, Germany, as well as with event partners in the German-speaking area (Germany, Switzerland).1.14 Furthermore, the client reserves the right to commission the implementation of information events about German wine at trade fairs. The German Wine Institute takes part in various trade and consumer fairs every year, where visitors are informed about German wine. In the course of tastings held several times a day, visitors to the trade fairs are given an overview of the diversity of different grape varieties and growing regions.
