The purpose of the service of management, coordination and control of maritime port traffic is to facilitate, in conditions of efficiency, quality and safety, the navigation of ships and vessels in general, in the waters of the service area of the Port of Maó, to avoid collisions and dangerous situations for people, for navigation itself, for the safety of goods and for the preservation of the marine environment.The service of coordination and control of operations associated with port services, commercial and other activities, aims to ensure that port users benefit from a quality and safe service in the daily development of the operations in which different actors are involved.
