The following measures are part of the project:
- Complete dismantling of the existing intermediate platform, including the crossing to track 1
- Complete dismantling of the house platform and renewal over a length of 160m on the newly laid track 1
- New construction of an external platform on track 2 over a length of 160m with barrier-free connection to Luitpoldstraße by means of a ramp
- Construction of a new pedestrian underpass to connect the two platforms, including stairs and elevator systems, as well as roofing over the stairs and parts of the platforms
- Construction of an ESTW module building at Friedberg station, including cable routing system in the station and along the line as well as the associated outdoor facilities LST
- Renewal of track 2 along its entire length in the station area incl. PSS (formation protection layer), removal of the slow speed section with excavation of 50 m and connection to the new deep drainage system
- Renewal of track 1 in a new position incl. PSS and connection to the new deep drainage system
