Description
This Request for Tender will focus on at least two (2) commercial supply chain examples from BIM supported Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPs). The tender will focus on the specific task of developing a pilot application tailored to digitally track product from the FIPs through the supply chain into retail chains and generate appropriate reporting structures for supply chain participants according to their reporting needs. The pilots can choose the scale for e.g. either single vessel or defined group of vessels depending on the product supplied and how product can be tracked within a processing company.
The scope of this tender is to test digital traceability solutions through pilot studies in key Irish fisheries using the FIPs as a vehicle for these pilot studies. The aim is to use digital technologies to create and deliver customer value of seafood emanating from participants in the FIPs.
Considering this is a digital solution with a focus on data integrity and verification, data management will be an important aspect of the scope of the tender. Further details can be found under “Specifications and Requirements”
