Description

Verkehrsgesellschaft Hameln-Pyrmont mbH (VHP) operates scheduled services in the district of Hameln-Pyrmont and in peripheral areas of neighbouring districts from the Hameln operating site and a parking facility in Bad Pyrmont. The sole shareholder is the district of Hameln-Pyrmont, which is also the public transport authority. The city of Hameln is a district town and VHP operates 23 lines with approx. 135 buses, both its own and those of subcontractors. The main focus is on 6 city bus lines, most of which run every 30 minutes. the existing itcs (Intermodal Transport Control System) is being replaced. With the new itcs, VDV 453/454 interfaces to the ZDD, internal connection security and central control of all passenger information channels (DFI displays, app ...) are realized.New on-board computers/electronic ticket printers (BR) with a significantly higher performance, replace the more than 10 year old on-board computers and form the basis for an extended functionality. In addition to the use of the existing functions in a higher and extended quality, the new on-board computers to be procured also allow the introduction of new functions.the BR forms the central component in the vehicle, in which the current timetables, route elements and routes of the regular service or transport network are stored. It independently determines the current vehicle location and compares it with the target location at the current time. Here, the current stop and the next stops ("pearl cord") as well as a stop request can be displayed on a monitor. On the right-hand side of the monitor, connections with actual times ("return channel") or other information, such as diversions at construction sites, are also displayed. the BR controls the data exchange with the central background systems for sales and itcs via the public mobile network M2M of Telekom Deutschland. The existing IVU.fare system is to continue to be used and integrated. In addition to the process data BR - itcs, the supply of timetable and fare data as well as the disposal of, among other things, operational data and ticket sales shifts is also carried out In the vehicle, the BR communicates with other components and devices. In particular, various vehicle signals are read and evaluated and components for visual and acoustic passenger information are controlled. The BR makes full use of IBIS and IBIS-IP as well as powerful technologies for the control of the TFT monitors. New vehicles will also be equipped with a passenger counting device (delivery not subject of the tender), which will be supplied with data by the BR regarding data such as line, journey, stop etc. The communication between itcs and the BRs in the vehicle is to be designed for data and voice. In addition to VoIP, GSM telephony must be provided as a fallback level, starting with the current vehicle procurement and subsequently all other public buses, the "ivantoCore" system from GeoMobile will be retrofitted and controlled by BR. The new EFAD also enables the use of new ticketing and inspection technologies that enable eTicketing via NFC/RFID-capable user media and 2D barcode readers. The guest card of the state spas Bad Pyrmont and Bad Münder with almost 1 million overnight stays p. a. has to be checked.
