Description

The school building of the OSZ is a prefabricated school type "Erfurt". The school was built at the end of the 70's/beginning of the 80's and consists of a 4-storey building tract which was originally used for general education and a 3-storey building tract for technical education as well as a connecting building which connects 3 floors of the two buildings.It is located at Beeskower Strasse 15, Hall 76, Plurstück 78 and is to be thoroughly renovated, including the renovation of the building shell and the interior fittings. House E (5) is to be refurbished as a replacement for House C in Potsdamer Straße, which is currently in full use and in need of renovation. Part of the social services department is to be accommodated there. In addition, a third secondary school is to grow up in this building. Some specialist cabinets are to be used across schools. The secondary school should be able to be run in 2-3 stages. Initially, the calculation is based on a two-tier approach (minimum capacity for a secondary school that can be approved). When growing up a 2-stream secondary school, a capacity for 8 classes is needed in four years. Assuming the earliest school opening in the school year 2018/19, the school will grow completely by the school year 2021/22. as the inclusive school project continues to expand to include secondary schools, the need for a three-stream secondary school is forecast, for which additional capacity will then be required through the subsequent refurbishment of House C. A further assignment will only be made if the requested subsidies are granted.
