General planning services for the partial renewal of a waste incineration plant.
The Stadtwerke Düsseldorf AG (hereinafter also referred to as "AG" or "client") are planning the construction and operation of an incineration line for the incineration of municipal and commercial waste for the partial renewal of their thermal waste treatment plant (hereinafter also referred to as "plant"), with the option of constructing a second incineration line at the same site (hereinafter also referred to as "partial renewal").the incineration capacity of the plant is not to be expanded.the incineration line is to be located at the existing site in Düsseldorf Flingern. The optional second incineration line is expected to be located on the site to the west of the existing plant with a capacity of approx. 200,000 tons per year.the planning must be carried out in such a way that the second incineration line can also be integrated with the auxiliary plants (ventilation, fire protection, electrical and control technology). The partial renewal will take place parallel to the operation of the existing plant. The technical feasibility has already been examined. The entire project planning for the partial renewal is hereby put out to tender. The scope of the planning services is considered to be complete and includes all planning activities necessary to achieve the partial renewal (e.g. review of studies, preliminary and design planning, tender planning, assistance in awarding contracts, approval planning, detailed planning, interface coordination, quality assurance, documentation, site management, construction supervision, commissioning coordination, training, scheduling, residual points and warranty processing) The new incineration plant is expected to start commercial operation in 2027. The contract to be concluded between the Principal and the Contractor (hereinafter also referred to as "Contractor") will run until the partial renewal is completed. According to current estimates, this is expected to be 31.12.2027. An extension of the contract is possible due to delays in the project.the contractor will only be commissioned if the responsible bodies of the Principal agree to the partial renewal. If the approval of the bodies is denied, the Contractor may not assert any claims against the Client, in particular no claims for damages.
