General description: The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) is housed in a complex consisting of several building sections in Berlin-Mitte between Wilhelmstraße, Mohrenstraße and Mauerstraße, the origins of which date back to the 19th century and which has been successively rebuilt (war damage of the Second World War) and expanded or modernised, especially in the past decades. The complex used as an office building has, as is usual for such buildings, a modern IT infrastructure, including several server rooms, which is successively extended and renewed in order to meet the general progress and the increasing demand in the IT sector for the use of new communication media. one of the existing server rooms DG 75 and the central telecommunications system room DG 73 are to be merged and fundamentally modernised in the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The newly created room and the adjacent technical rooms will have the following fittings:- 38 19" cabinets, each with 42 U for IT technology and the connection of the network,- raised floor and a cold-hot zone,- fire alarm and gas extinguishing system,- 2 fully redundant cooling systems, designed for a heat load of 50 kW to be dissipated.Project costs: Cost estimate: The costs of cost group 400 are estimated at a net total of EUR 1.32 million. AG 8 Building automation: Performance profile: Basic services in phases 3-9 and special services.The special services include:Service level 1: Inventory BMAS server room network, creation of fire case matrix, detailed calculation of operating costs, planning of Green IT requirementsService level 2: Continuation of fire case matrix, planning of temporary arrangements, continuation of Green IT service level 3: Testing / values of ancillary servicesService level 4: Preparation / coordination of active principle testing, testing of documentationService level 5: Monitoring of defect rectificationBegin/end of service provision:Start of service provision: approx. 1st quarter 2020End of service: approx. 2nd quarter 2023Security review: The readiness for security review according to SÜG (ÜG2) must be available. However, there is no legal entitlement to the transfer of all benefits.
