Description of Work : Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) depends on IT systems to deliver high-quality services to Canadians in the areas of food safety, environmental information, research and technology, and policies and programs to achieve security of the food system, health of the environment and innovation for growth for the Nation. In many cases, it is not only AAFC clients who rely on these systems, but other government departments and 3rd party organizations.  The IT Security group within the IT Security and Architecture division of AAFC is responsible for reviewing and recommending solutions to reduce risk associated with the implementation of these systems within the AAFC environment. The Policy on Government Security recommends a number of preventive measures including conducting TRA’s, creation of Statements of Sensitivity (SOS) and Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) program implementation for IM/IT systems. ISB requires contract resources to augment its staff and assist in the delivery of these TRA, SOS and SA&A undertakings in support of AAFC’s IT Security priorities.
