Description
The Pays de la Loire Region, the organising authority for regional passenger transport, wishes to better understand and evaluate the use of its ALEOP rail transport network in order, on the one hand, to adapt its transport offer and, on the other hand, to size and optimise the use of railway rolling stock whose acquisition and ownership costs are particularly high. The Region carries out manual counts once a year on TER rail services. However, the reliability and completeness of the data collected in this context are limited (reconstitution of only one typical week per year). The purpose of this framework agreement is therefore to carry out automatic rail passenger counts including data centralisation, processing, return and analysis.
