Description

In order to ensure transfer connections, the airport operator must ensure a smooth connection between different piers for passengers. On the airside, this is mainly ensured by a driverless passenger transport system (PTS, "Skyline") between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Maintaining the operational processes necessary for flight operations is a top priority for Fraport. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure replacement traffic in case of scheduled PTS failure on different routes by using buses, and on the other hand, the airport operator has developed processes to reduce the volume of traffic at different process control points. This includes, for example, the One-Stop-Security Shuttle, which takes transferring guests from Z to B on airside.service area "One-Stop-Security Shuttle":The route is served by 2 articulated buses (net) on the apron as follows The operations must be carried out at the specified times with the required number of buses (net). The operating times at the beginning of the service cannot be predicted precisely at present, as these are dependent on item availability. The operating times and cycle times in the current winter timetable 2019/20 are structured as follows:Mon - Sat daily 6-12 a.m., Sun 6-8 a.m. In the context of seasonal pre-planning, the operating time for the timetable periods can be deviated or adjusted (timetable periods: summer timetable = start of last Sunday in March to last Saturday in October; winter timetable = start of last Sunday in October to last Saturday in March). Deviations in the operating times at the beginning of the service can only be named at the beginning of the summer flight schedule. service area "Planned substitute traffic apron side":At least 6 weeks in advance, Fraport will inform the contractor about the upcoming substitute traffic, the number of required operations (according to the commissioned offer), the expected duration, as well as date and times.Fraport reserves the right to call up the following quantities of buses in the event of a planned replacement traffic: Route "Z-B" - approx. 2 km - daily 5-23 hrs - 5 articulated busesRoute "B-E" - approx. 4.4 km - daily 5-23 hrs - 3 solo buses Fraport reserves the right to call up partial quantities. During an ongoing replacement service, quantity adjustments in a quantity of 20% of the above-mentioned quantity can be called up with a lead time of 3 days.in the case of a planned replacement service, the OSS shuttle is not carried out, which is why the buses provided for the OSS shuttle should be used for a planned replacement service.the detailed areas can be found in the informative tender documents.
