Description

The subject of the tendered framework agreement for a period of 48 months is the supply of Citrix licenses and corresponding services.
For this framework agreement, Citrix licenses and hardware as well as the care/maintenance of new and existing Citrix licenses/hardware are to be procured for ITDZ Berlin and its customers. The current use of Citrix hardware and software by the ITDZ Berlin and its customers is based on the definition of the ICT architecture of the Berlin administration in accordance with the E-Government Act. Based on this specification in the form of the ICT architecture list, the ITDZ Berlin provides a network-based standardized ICT workstation for the Berlin administration. A central solution is used to provide a server-based computing environment. Citrix technology is currently used in the ICT architecture both for desktop virtualization and for securing access paths.Customers of the ITDZ Berlin within the meaning of this contract are agencies of the State of Berlin as well as private educational institutions and housing associations.Entities of the State of Berlin are the direct state administration with the central administration and the district administrations, the courts, the administration of the House of Representatives, the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, the Court of Audit, the Constitutional Court, the indirect state administration with its state-unrelated corporations, institutions and foundations under public law, as well as institutions in private-sector legal form with direct participation of the State of Berlin.The maximum limit for this framework agreement is set at 14,950,000 euros
