Description
It wants to engage the services of a team of consultants to develop a unified set of 5 metricated building codes for Jamaica, these being
- plumbing code
- fuel gas code
- private sewage disposal code
- energy conservation code
- electrical code
You will be expected to:
- conduct gap analysis of the 2012, 2015 and 2018 International Code Council codes to identify areas to be updated, prepare the metricated and amalgamated Jamaica Building Codes
- hold consultations with industry stakeholders, as well as the International Code Council, Bureau of Standards of Jamaica (BSJ) Building Code Technical Committee and Standards Council.
The anticipated duration of the work is 14 months.
