Description

The town hall with the underground car parks (town hall underground car park, parking garage "Stadtmitte") and the public space in the above-described quarter deserve special mention. The task of the next years and decades will be to develop the city centre beyond an upgrading of the retail and service centre to an urban appearance and significance that corresponds to its location and function as the centre of the city. 2014, the city of St. Georgen had draft proposals for the redesign and development of the streets and squares as well as for the structural supplement elaborated in a first step with an ideas competition. The aim of the competition was not a conclusively described realisation concept, but rather to develop a reactive master plan.1 The competition entry of the 1st prize winner is the basis for the future free spatial and sectional development of the city centre of St. Georgen in public measures, but also a guideline for individual projects of private promoters.11st prize ideas competition: K9 Architekten GmbH, Freiburg faktorgruen Freie Landschaftsarchitekten, RottweilThe underground car parks below play an important role in a holistic view of the redevelopment backdrop in the city centre. Therefore a further measure in this context was the extensive structural and static investigation of the town hall garage and parking garage "Stadtmitte" (city centre). The following offices were consulted for a complete consideration: Schneider Architekten, St. Georgen, (renovation measures with cost estimate) Kirn Ingenieure, Pforzheim (concrete technological investigations) Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. (concrete technological investigations) Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. (concrete technological investigations) Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. (concrete technological investigations) Faltlhauser Ingenieure, Reutlingen (statics) Ingenieurbüro Oberle, Villingen-Schwenningen (ventilation, electrics, lighting, barriers)As a result of the processing, the local council decided within several variants on a solution which is now to be implemented in connection with the redesign of the public outdoor facilities. The lead management within the overall measure of outdoor facilities/underground car parks lies on the planner's side with the landscape architect.Refurbishment of underground car park (Rathausgarage/Stadtmitte)KG 200 262 000 EURKG 300 5 665 000 EURKG 400 (410/430/480) 1 130 000 EURKG 400 (440/450) 535 000 EURFreianlagen (Marktplatz/Rathausplatz/Gerwigstraße/Hauptstraße/Gewerbehallenstraße)KG 500 8 851 000 EURStart of planning: 2019Execution: from 2020 in several construction phases.
