Description

Structural design
- Structural design -A 4-stream elementary school with after-school care, a family elementary school center and a 2-field gymnasium is to be built at the Karlsruher Straße site. The planned construction site is located between Mannheimer Straße and Potschkaustraße and covers an area of approximately 16,000 m². The construction area in the district West in Grünau includes the land parcels 1490/2, 1496 (partial area), 1755 and 1756 of the district Schönau. The 4-student school with after-school care is to be equipped with a standard occupancy for 448 school children.Taking into account a 20% overcrowding, the school offers space for 538 school children. Furthermore, a 2-field sports hall with sports and break areas is to be built on the construction site. As a basis for the planning of the school and sports hall construction, the model room program for elementary schools of the city of Leipzig including the construction standards is to be used. During the planning process, it will be examined whether and to what extent the sports facilities can be made available to the public outside school hours.Furthermore, additional areas are to be provided for a family elementary school center with a separate entrance. After completion of the implementation planning of service phase 5, the implementation of the construction services for the preparation of the school with sports hall is to be carried out with a general contractor in the form of a functional tender. The new school building is intended for the long-term accommodation of the Friedrich-Fröbel School after completion. A public use of the gymnasium and sports area is intended. The feasibility, among other things within the framework of the immission control laws, will be examined in detail in the further course of planning. The buildings must be designed to be barrier-free.Four learning houses for 112 children each consisting of four classrooms, two small group rooms and two after-school group rooms for all-day use are to be built for the planned four-group elementary school. Two DaZ classrooms are to be distributed among the learning houses. Together with a team station with storage area, all areas are to be arranged around a common fire-protection-compliant center.(Note: Compliance with Saxon building regulations)All areas of the learning house have visual relationships to each other, through a design with glass and flexible walls. A separate checkroom area for the children, as well as sanitary facilities for students and pedagogical staff of the learning house are to be provided for in the planning. Two subject classrooms for handicrafts with adjoining room and an art room with adjoining room are to be positioned in a separate creative cluster. The foyer of the building is to be designed with an openness to the dining hall and in direct connection to a multi-purpose room, so that a joint use of the area as an assembly hall and meeting place is possible. Two music rooms should be located near the auditorium area and could also be used for movement activities. A school library in a central location is to be provided. The administrative area consisting of offices for school management, deputy school management, after-school care management and deputy after-school care management should be housed in a separate administrative area together with a secretary's office and a team lounge. The materiality and design of the building should reflect the concept of the school as a sustainable school as well as a near-natural design of the schoolyard. The space program of the Building Standards of the City of Leipzig is to be implemented accordingly.Family Elementary School CenterThe Family Elementary School Center is planned for use for parent and family offerings, open to all interested parents of the school as well as from the district. Offers for the promotion and support of families with children as well as for parent education should be offered, and cooperation between the elementary school and the nearby daycare centers and secondary schools should be made possible. The rooms of the Family Elementary School Center should be separately accessible and usable, so that a use outside of school / after-school hours and also on weekends is easily possible. The rooms of the family elementary school center are used multifunctionally, e.g. for parent afternoons, planned play and exercise activities for children with parents, counseling services for parents, team consultations and small group work in the team (use of projector) as well as services in the context of a parent café.The technical equipment of the elementary school and sports hall must be state-of-the-art. Accessibility is to be provided for both buildings. The arrangement on the building site is to be planned in such a way that the shortest possible routes are created. Due to the planned extracurricular use of the sports hall, the entrance area must also be separately accessible from the outside. The same applies to the entrance area for the family elementary school center.Energy and climate protectionAs part of the planning for the new elementary school building, an energy concept must be created that implements the current requirements from the Immediate Action Program for Climate Emergency (VI-A-07961-DS-10) and the update of the energy guideline. In general, different supply scenarios are to be developed and compared in the energy concept. Field of action 5 of the immediate action program (installation of solar systems on municipal buildings) stipulates: "As a rule, all new municipal buildings will be equipped with a solar system (photovoltaic and/or solar thermal) [...]. The available roof area will be used extensively and the solar system will preferably be combined with a green roof". Synergy effects are among other things the retention of precipitation water, cooling effect and an increased system efficiency of the solar roofing. With the publication of this tender on evergabe, the documents for the 1st stage of the procedure are deposited and made available for download. With the invitation of the selected applicants, the documents for the 2nd stage will be integrated on evergabe.
