Description

The Steyerberg district intends to build a new fire department building in the Deblinghausen district.82 active members and 32 youths and children currently belong to the fire department. The fire department building must also accommodate a total of five vehicles. The local fire department of Deblinghausen is a base fire department that will be maintained in the long term and should therefore also be prepared for a possible merger with neighboring local fire departments. Therefore, the vehicle hall should be modularly expandable and the social wing and the functional rooms should be designed to take this development into account. The district of Steyerberg attaches particular importance to a climate-friendly construction method, which concerns both the building material itself and the energy consumption and the generation of electricity and heat from renewable energies (passive house standard for the social wing). The estimated construction costs are EUR 2.5 million.
