Description
The Sonnentherme Lutzmannsburg as well as the surrounding hotels and the community of Lutzmannsburg are to be supplied with district heating. For this purpose, a combined heat and power plant (CHP) is to be built. The CHP shall consist of a biomass boiler plant, a biomass CHP plant as well as a power to heat plant and a backup boiler (natural gas). All plants shall feed the produced heat into a buffer storage. From the buffer storage, the heat is then to be pumped into the district heating network and to the customers. The electricity from the biomass CHP is to be transported to the Therme by means of a direct line. Appropriate biomass transfer and transport facilities as well as flue gas cleaning shall be planned. All components are to be housed in a suitable building.
