Description

It is intended to rebuild and expand the central emergency room (hereinafter referred to as ZNA) of the St. Vincentius Hospital in Speyer, which is located on the ground floor. The requirements for future use are based on the idealised spatial programme approved by the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The space programme is part of the tender documents.the space requirements cannot be met by the rooms allocated in the ZNA's inventory, which is why the adjacent laboratory rooms are to be included in the construction project in favour of the new emergency room.the relocation of the laboratory is to be carried out by the hospital operator and is not part of the tendered planning services.nevertheless, the handling of the existing massive installations and the dismantling of the laboratory rooms will represent a not to be underestimated effort in the implementation of the planned measure. In particular, there is close coordination with the specialist engineers. The extremely limited local situation must be taken into account during the entire construction project. This also applies to the supply and disposal of the construction site both indoors and outdoors. Contaminated materials in the course of the demolition work are to be expected and general hospital operations continue in the direct vicinity of the construction site areas. Accordingly, only very limited space is available for construction site equipment. High sensitivity for hospital operation is required, protective measures must be trained, and the construction project therefore requires constant and close coordination with all companies involved in the construction. According to the approved room program, the future processes are to be optimized by means of a control center and waiting zone for patients that is located as centrally as possible. Due to the central location of the ZNA and the connection to other parts of the hospital through the current waiting zone, the planned implementation of the construction project will not only have to be carried out during ongoing operations, but also while the hospital is fully operational to receive emergency patients. The care of patients must therefore be ensured and maintained at all times. Furthermore, the interdependencies of the existing building and building services and the new building services to be implemented in future must be coordinated with regard to the formation of sections during operation. Work phases 2 to 9 will be awarded and work phase 1 has already been completed. The construction volume amounts to approx. 2.5 million EUR gross.cost group 410 - Sewage, water and gas installations - Dismantling of sewage pipes, new connection to existing pipes,- Complete dismantling of the existing drinking water installation including the installation of a new water supply system.
