The state of Schleswig-Holstein is planning a refurbishment and an extension of the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel (CAU) by means of an extension and an addition to the pharmaceutical biology department. According to the climate protection goals of the EU, the federal government, the state and the CAU, the renovated building should already meet the highest standards of long-term economy and energy efficiency (highest energy-efficiency building). the principles of CO2-neutral construction, the use of renewable energies, the careful use of natural resources, the economical use of water, the avoidance of composite materials, the support of health and well-being through the use of demonstrably ecological building materials and the possibility of recycling the materials used after use in a biological or technical cycle are to be taken into account in planning and execution, The Contractor is expected to develop and implement forward-looking, outstanding planning solutions in architectural, building services and/or energy aspects that go beyond the "standard solutions" and are intended to have a "pilot character" within the framework of this project.
