The aim is to develop an attractive building cubature in accordance with the urban development objectives and in terms of design, taking into account the spatial programme, and to accommodate it on the land currently already belonging to the fire brigade and the Stadtsparkasse. The approved preliminary NBP has a usable floor space 1-6 of approx. 22,000 m2.the challenges of the project are both the high proportion of technical equipment and the wide variety of uses, such as official housing, administration, workshops, classrooms, multi-functional hall, kitchen, canteen, changing rooms, respiratory protection workshop, training grounds and facilities, fire simulation house, TG, outdoor areas with parking spaces, etc. Also the economic feasibility of a conclusive overall concept as well as the presentation of the construction logistics in connection with the realisation of construction phases are important, as the site conditions are limited. In the first BA the training hall will be demolished. The property to be built on is in Sendling between Aidenbach- and Boschetsriederstraße, near Ratzinger Platz. The northern part of the property lies within the scope of development plan 245a, for the southern area of Ratzinger Platz a B-plan A1769a is currently being drawn up.
