Planning services for the extension of the central operating theatre, conversion of the former delivery room area and extension of the bed and functional tract at St. Marien-Hospital Borken; object planning (cf. §§ 3, 34 in connection with Annex 10 HOAI); St. Marien-Hospital was built in the middle of the 19th century at its present location in Borken. In the 50s and 70s of the last century, parts of the building were demolished in several steps and replaced by large-scale new buildings. At the end of the 1970s, a 10-storey bed house with administrative, clinical and technical supply functional areas on the lower floors was added, the St. Marien-Hospital is a central building with a radial access structure. Examination and treatment areas are located on the lower levels up to the 3rd floor. In the BT A ward block there are 2 to 8 nursing wards on the levels 2 to 8. In the BT B ward block, nursing beds are also provided from the ground floor to the 3rd floor. The main entrance to the hospital is located on the ground floor in an elevated priory, so that, for example, the supply and disposal facilities and the approach of the lying patients in the basement can be separated from the patients and visitor flows. There are side entrances at various points, mainly in the basement. The central parking facilities for patients and visitors are located in the immediate vicinity of the main entrance. For a future-oriented development of the clinic it is essential to create optimized use and functional areas. It is planned that these areas in the existing building stock will partly be used for a different purpose, but also that they will be generated by extension components. In this context, it will be taken into account that the existing building fabric will be preserved as far as possible due to its good quality. Against this background, the following measures are planned in particular:- Health centre - basement;- Entrance hall - ground floor;- Day clinic ground floor - ground floor;- New building for central sterile supply - 1st floor;- Clinical doctor service, spinal column surgery - 1st floor;- Neurology, early rehabilitation - 2nd floor;- Nursing ward, neurosurgery - 3rd floor;- Hospital ward, neurosurgery - 3rd floor;- Hospital ward, neurosurgery - 3rd floor;- Hospital ward, neurosurgery - 1st floor;- Hospital ward, neurosurgery - 3rd floor;- Hospital ward, neurosurgery - 1st floor Nursing ward, psychosomatic medicine - 4th floor;- CUA rooms - 4th floor;- Nursing ward, psychosomatic medicine - 5th floor;- CUA rooms - 5th floor;- Technical centre - 6th floor;- Extension of the functional tract - central OP;- Extension of the functional tract - outpatient OP/endoscopy;- Deconstruction of the hospital chapel - general approach.
