The first stage provides for the commissioning of work phases 1-4. In a second stage, work phases 5-9 will be commissioned The winding tower of shaft 1, which was erected in 1957/58, consists largely of a riveted and welded steel construction. The structural tests carried out in 2008 and 2015 led to the conclusion that rehabilitation measures are absolutely necessary for the permanent preservation of the winding tower. It can be assumed that the heavily corroded components such as the staircase with the associated landings and railings and the sheet metal covers of the pulley platform and the catwalk on the scaffold head will have to be completely replaced. The renewal has to be carried out with identical geometry and the same profiles, taking into account the requirements of the monument preservation law. The damage to the shaft 1 winding tower and the planned repair work are described in detail in Document 02 "Documentation for the tender", which is enclosed with the tender documents.
