Description

The project "ABS Lübeck - Schwerin" (electrification and new construction of the Bad Kleinen connecting curve) has been given a positive assessment by the Federal Government (NKV = 1.03) and has moved up into the priority requirement category of the current requirement plan of the Federal Railway Infrastructure Expansion Act (BSWAG) in the third quarter of 2018. The line is part of the overall TEN network and is part of the VB-Plus network of the network concept 2030. The subject of this contract award is the planning services for the electrification of the line section Lübeck - Bad Kleinen, the construction of a connecting curve near Bad Kleinen, capacity increasing measures for 740 m trains, the expansion of the traffic stations Schönberg and Grieben, the implementation of active and passive noise protection measures as well as safety and overhead line technical adaptation measures.

The line is located in the overall TEN network and is part of the VB-Plus network of the network conception 2030 The transport objective of the project is to improve the quality of the passenger and freight transport services. The "Fixed Fehmarn Belt Crossing" (FBQ) will cause a large-scale shift of traffic from Scandinavia to Germany: The ABS Lübeck - Schwerin will create an attractive route to/from Berlin/Central Germany for freight trains running over the FBQ without changing traction or direction. In addition to the electrification of the Lübeck - Bad Kleinen section, the project includes the construction of a connecting curve near Bad Kleinen, capacity increasing measures for 740m trains, the expansion of the Schönberg and Grieben traffic stations, the implementation of active and passive noise protection measures as well as safety and overhead line adaptation measures.The following planning services (service phases 3 and 4) are part of this tender:- object planning traffic facilities and technical track equipment;- object planning engineering structures;- structural design engineering structures;- object planning buildings;- structural design buildings.The following objects or trades are to be planned:- Railway line;- Electrification;- Signal box technology;- Level crossings;- Electrical power systems (50 Hz);- Telecommunication;- GSM-R radio;- Deconstruction;- Engineering structures;- Buildings including technical equipment.
