The purpose of the award procedure is to appoint an architectural firm that will be responsible for the design, development and construction of a new building. The selected architectural firm will also be responsible for the organisation of a tendering procedure in accordance with the Government Procurement Act and will assist the client in the allocation of the various lots to the contractors.The object of the assignment is to construct, within the master plan that was developed for the site of OC Cirkant, after demolition of an existing building, a new building for the overarching services of the facility. 4 pavilions have been built on the site of the facility, where a total of 12 groups of people are housed. The building for the umbrella services will be given a central place on the domain. The building to be designed will accommodate various services. It concerns:- rooms for care and support of the clients. Rooms for the clients' day-today activities (music studio, cooking workshop, craft workshop, snoozle rooms, quiet room, sanitary facilities clients [...]). Therapy rooms (kiné, logo, therapeutic bath), - logistics rooms. Catering, limited laundry, storerooms, local techniques, - reception area of OC Cirkant. Reception desk, (multipurpose) restaurant, visitors' area, visitors' sanitary facilities, - administrative rooms. The aim is to optimise the location of the building and to make maximum use of the characteristics of the site. The design takes into account safe and comfortable transport flows between the various buildings on the site. Accessibility is a priority. Functionality and multifunctional use are a necessity within a limited building volume. A pleasant living environment must be created, taking into account the sensitivity of the environment and the great limitations of the clients. In addition, the experience of the outdoor environment should be taken into account as much as possible in the concept. In addition, the building must radiate a welcoming character, as it is the main entrance to OC Cirkant.
