Description

The object of the contract is the external supply of textiles for the following clinic locations:- Hospital Cologne-Merheim, Ostmerheimer Str. 200, 51109 Cologne,- Hospital Cologne-Holweide, Neufelder Str. 32, 51067 Cologne,- Children's Hospital Amsterdamer Straße, Amsterdamer Str. 59, 50735 Cologne; and- Rehabilitation Clinic RehaNova, Ostmerheimer Str. 200, 51109 CologneThe clinics Cologne. The contract is awarded either in the alternative "full textile supply" or in the alternative "contract washing". The changeover to an external textile supply for the clinic locations is to be carried out (depending on the alternative commissioned, step by step) probably from 1.7.2020. The alternative "full textile supply" comprises the provision of the textiles listed in the annexes "Requirements for the ward linen range" and "Requirements for the workwear and area clothing range" by the contractor, their reprocessing, replacement procurement, repair and textile logistics and service and controlling services. Organisational services and the operation of the customer's own workwear dispensing system through the use of LF-based recording and dispensing systems are also essential components of full textile supply. These systems, which are already in place at the client's premises, are intended to monitor and control the flow of workwear in the client's facilities. Accordingly, the alternative comprises the needs-based supply of the contractor's own ward linen and workwear and, to a gradually decreasing extent (see implementation plan under Section 3.8 in the Annex "Service Specification Alternative Full Textile Supply"), also the processing and transport of a certain amount of the contractor's own textiles still in use at the locations listed in the award documents (see Annex "Service Specification Alternative Full Textile Supply" for details). The relevant performance obligations of the contractor include the collection, proper preparation, cleaning, disinfection, finishing and return delivery of hospital linen (ward linen and workwear) provided by the customer. The dirty laundry is collected from one or two transfer points per clinic location, and the fresh laundry is returned by type to one or two transfer points per clinic location. In the course of the award procedure, but at the latest with the invitation to submit a final, binding offer, the contracting authority will decide on an alternative and inform the bidders accordingly.
