Description

The state capital Mainz is planning the refurbishment of building C at the adult education centre at Karmeliterplatz 1 in 55116 Mainz-Altstadt. The subject of the contract is the structural design services for work phases 1-6 as well as the object supervision within the scope of work phase 8.
It is planned to award the contract for the structural design of LP 1-6 and supervision within the scope of LP 8 for the refurbishment work on Building C. This is a listed building built around 1900 with a gross floor area of approx. 7,500.00 m2. It is planned to renovate the building envelope to improve energy efficiency, drain and renovate the basement, completely renovate the sports hall, make the public areas barrier-free, renovate the toilet facilities, renovate the classrooms, extend and redesign the inner courtyard and renovate the connecting bridge.
