Description

The specialist planning tasks to be performed by the contractor(s) comprise planning services for the required structural design according to Part 4 Section 1 HOAI in the course of the planning of the conversion of the Merzig KA in the context of a process changeover from simultaneous aerobic to anaerobic sludge stabilisation. The construction of 2 digestion towers (compact digestion) is planned, as well as the integration of a pre-treatment plant and an intermediate pumping station into the water and sludge path. It is also necessary to provide for a new long-sand fishery due to the inadequate functioning of the existing round grit traps. The exact scope of the required structural design is determined by the planning results of the object planning, whereby the following plant components are likely to be considered: Preliminary sedimentation, sand trap, intermediate pumping station, gas storage, pre-shaft, digestion towers if necessary, associated structures.
