Description

The department invites Tender responses from suitably qualified organisations with the capacity and experience to deliver individually tailored skills analysis and career advisory services and administer a training incentive for eligible Participants aged 40 years or above:
·        who are employed and at risk of unemployment, or
·        have been unemployed for no more than twelve consecutive months,
and who are not registered for assistance through an Australian Government employment services program.
Participants who complete the Program are provided with a personalised Career Plan which may include advice on the skills or training needed to transition to a new role in their current industry, or to move to a new career in another industry or occupation, with a particular view to opportunities in occupations in demand.
The Incentive is available to people who have completed a Skills Checkpoint Career Plan that identified eligible training opportunities. It provides up to $2,200 (GST Inclusive) to co-fund up to 75 per cent of the course cost of training linked to an occupation in national shortage on the National Skills Commission’s Skills Priority list.
