LANDFILL SERVICES

A. The Sheridan VA Medical Center (VAMC) located in Sheridan, WY requires dumping trash and other debris in a landfill facility. The Sheridan VAMC also requires the pick-up of recyclables from the facility.

B. The Sheridan VAMC requires a destination/landfill to dump trash/waste/garbage/debris, boiler plant ashes and recyclable shredded paper. The Sheridan VAMC has their own garbage truck and driver and will dump trash and other debris as per the below estimated schedule.

Trash/waste/garbage brought by station garbage truck. Daily dumping, Monday Friday.

Boiler plant ashes brought by the station. 1-3 days per week, Monday Friday.

Shredded paper brought by the station. 1-2 times per week, Monday Friday.

General construction/demolition debris brought by the station. As Needed Basis, Monday Friday.

C. Below is a non-inclusive list of trash/waste/garbage/debris items that will be dumped at the landfill:

General trash/garbage, construction debris, pallets, batteries, wire, appliances (Freon and non-Freon).

D. The Sheridan VAMC also requires the pick-up and disposal of recyclables from their station facility. The station requires two multi-compartment recyclable containers for various recyclable items.

The Contractor shall provide the two multi-compartment containers and empty/replace the containers on an As Needed Basis or when the facility Point of Contact (POC) calls the Contractor.

E. Types of trash/recyclables will include: Household Trash, Construction Debris, Grindable C&D, Concrete, Rock, Brick, Pallets, Units to be Decommissioned, Tires, HHW Adhesives, Batteries, Commercial, Brush (No charge item), Metal-Wire, Appliance (No charge item), Special Handling Fee, E-Waste (No charge item), Recycling, Asphalt (No charge item), Ammonia/Based Cleaner, Hydrochloric Acid, HHW Mercury, HHW Liquid Wastes, Weed/Grass Killer, HHW Oil Based Paint, Trash P/U, Trash Truck out of service, Comingled Recyclables, Unexpected items for disposal. Contractor shall provide a per ton or per pound price for each type of trash/recyclable.
