Description
The Maisons départementales de la solidarité (MDS) carry out various missions, including child protection. Thus, social workers accompany children as part of the Enfance-Famille mission and provide transportation for media visits, educational outings and placements. As part of the placements, the child entrusted to Child Welfare (ASE) must be handed over to a social care home or family assistant. These places of placement may be located close to the family or, on the contrary, very far away. The intervention can be done in an emergency.
