Canada - RFP# 24-14 Consulting Services - Development of River Flow Dashboard

Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Cowichan Valley Regional District (the “CVRD”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Consulting Services - Development of River Flow Dashboard, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The successful proponent/consultant will coordinate, lead and implement a river monitoring dashboard to consume water level data from multiple sources and display this data in a visual risk-based interface. The dashboard should aim to bring in all the river/tributary levels from the various gages/data sources on Cowichan’s high risk/high impact water sheds into a single display that a basic person can interpret. This will help inform emergency managers, local authorities and other response organizations by providing a graphical representation of what water sources may be close to flooding or at increased risk so that early actions may be taken. The consultant will need to provide the following deliverables as part of the project: 1. Project Plan 2. Regular Project Status Reports (bi-weekly or monthly) 3. Dashboard Concept Proposal (for stakeholder feedback prior to commencing development) 4. Draft Dashboard for User Acceptance Testing 5. Final Dashboard Implemented 6. Solution and User Documentation (to include a user quick guide and a more detailed technical document on the interface and feed aggregation solution).Notes This will be the only notice posted to BC Bid concerning this project.
