TITLE:
Restoration of the upstream jetty and island land of the
historic site of the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Canal

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The work that is the subject of this call for tenders involves the rehabilitation of certain Canal-de-Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue assets located on the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Canal National Historic Site. The work must be carried out between May 2020 and November 2020, as indicated in the predetermined schedule.
The works consist mainly in the reconstruction of the head of the concrete walls of the upstream pier and the installation of a new deck on this 260 meters length pier. The new deck will be mostly made of concrete prefabricated slabs with some wood insertions. Work also planned for this project include reparations to existing concrete walls of the pier, stoning of an existing wall, installation of a new fence, lighting work, paving of footpaths, specialized mechanics on the upper hinge saddle of the lock and others works related to these interventions.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT

There will be an optional (but highly recommended) site visit on Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 at 10:00 local. Interested bidders must go directly to the site of the works. The meeting point will be near the Canal-de-Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue lock on the Sainte-Anne street side.

MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE

- The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid.

MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD

- INTEGRITY PROVISIONS:

Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to provide the names within the time-frame specified will render the bid non-responsive.

Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals mentioned above within a specified time frame. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the time frame provided, or failure to cooperate to the verification process will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.

The Contractor must, at the Contractor's expense, obtain and maintain insurance contracts in accordance with the requirements of the Certificate of Insurance.
The insurance coverage shall include:
- Contractor Pollution Liability
as well as,
- Marine Liability

PERIOD OF WORK
The rehabilitation work must be completed before November, 2020 as per predetermined schedule.
