SWM Services GmbH intends to award a maintenance contract for the heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems of the entire Munich North combined heat and power plant site of SWM Services GmbH, which has been operating the Munich North combined heat and power plant at Unterföhring since 1964. Here, various plants generate electricity and district heating from coal, natural gas (hazardous area), residual waste and sewage sludge. The combined heat and power plant Munich North consists of separate units: Blocks 1 and 3 are used for waste incineration and a supply and disposal plant; coal-fired Block 2 is one of the main generating units for electricity and district heating. In addition, there are auxiliary facilities, in particular: intake structure, heating plants, district heating station, NH3 storage (hazardous area), water treatment, as well as social buildings, workshops, main storage facilities, garage buildings.
