1. PURPOSE

1.1 The SFLC-IBCT Product Line must hire a contractor to perform Main Propulsion Generator brush assembly renewal work onboard the CGC PENOBSOCT in Bayonne, NJ
2. SCOPE
2.1. The contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, equipment and parts to accomplish requirements to inspect, dry clean, test in place the windings, renew brushes and brush holders of the Nr1 Main Propulsion Diesel Generator(1000KW Westinghouse, 850 RPM, 1111 Amps, 800 Volt DC generator) IAW Scope of work outlined in SFLC STD Spec 2350 . Contractor shall conduct both pier op test and underway test prior to sign off of project work IAW Scope of work outlined in SFLC STD Spec 2350.

4.2 Supply (48) new OEM brushes; W535 0.5X1.75X2.75; P/N WS-27: $28.62 ea. (Cutter has in stock)
5. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:
5.1. Request period of performance is 12/09/2019-12/13/2019, contract will need to be scheduled as soon as possible to order to meet the required POP.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotations number is 70Z08520QP4512300 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. The NAICS Code is 336611. The Small Business Size Standard is 1250. This is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5.
**For purposes of evaluation and award, Past Performance is considered to be more important than Price.
