The Commission scolaire du Val-des-Cerfs, Owner, wishes to obtain tenders for the redefinition of the property and the development of a parking lot. Plans, specifications, contract documents and other information will only be available through the Electronic Tendering System (OTS) at www.seao.ca as of August 22, 2019.
A visit is scheduled for August 29, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. on the site at 289 St-Hubert Street, Granby, Quebec J2G 5N8. This site is adjacent to École St-Joseph located at 254 Laurier Street, Granby, Quebec J2G 5K8.

Bids, in sealed envelopes addressed to the undersigned, will be received at the head office of the Commission scolaire du Val-des-Cerfs, 55 rue Court, in Granby, Quebec, until 2:00 p. m. local time, Thursday, September 12, 2019, to be opened publicly at the same location, on the same day and at the same time. Any subsequent submission received will be automatically rejected.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid security representing 10% of the total amount of the bid excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of an irrevocable letter of guarantee or bid bond issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a licence issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (R.S.Q., c. A-32) authorizing it to carry on surety insurance, a trust company holding a licence issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (R.S.Q., c. S-29-01), a financial services cooperative governed by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C., 1991, c. 46), failing which the tender will automatically be rejected. This bid security will be valid for a period of 45 days from the bid opening date.
This call for tenders is subject to the Agreement on Trade and Cooperation between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO) and the Agreement on the Liberalization of Government Procurement of Quebec and New Brunswick (AQNB) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFFTA).
Only contractors holding, where applicable, the licence required under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) will be considered for the purposes of granting the contract. Bidding contractors are responsible for the selection of subcontractors, their creditworthiness and the content of their bids.
All bids must be made in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation respecting construction contracts for public bodies under the Act respecting contracts for public bodies (S.Q. 2006, c. 29).
The Owner reserves the right to accept neither the lowest nor any of the bids received.
