Description
Batch 1 is part of a train renovation operation broken down into 10 batches. The 16 AG trainsets currently achieve 1 mileage of between 1.4 and 1.800,000 km. Each train travels an average of 100,000 km per year. The first oars will reach their end-of-life limit in 2028. The objective is therefore to define the checks and work to be carried out on the VAL 208 AG trains in order to give them back 1 potential of 1.5 00 000 km or 10 additional years. The services provided under lot 1 concern the following elements: renovation of the structure and body equipment on the trains. Body and boiler work, floor replacement, replacement of hydraulic and pneumatic quick couplings, overhaul of the pneumatic control block. Overhaul of towing bracket, replacement of 3-way emergency valve, replacement of moving cables. Replacement of lectern switches, replacement of fluorescent tubes and light panes.
