Description of deliverables to be provided
Acquisition of five (5) Towed Impact Mitigators with two (2) purchase options in accordance with the following characteristics:

No optional equipment is required for this call for tenders
Additional information about quotations
Trailer impact attenuator compliant with NCHRP 350 TL3 standard.
Approved by the MTQ according to the HOM-5660-102 program, in compliance with the Highway Safety Code.
LED lights, connection connector must be 7 conductors.
A support leg with a wheel.
An adapter to extend the pole between 305 mm (12'') and 406 mm (16'').
The electrical connections must be soldered and protected with a heat-shrink sleeve.
A fixed boom support with LED boom. Vermac reference model VM-4815 with wireless control.
Shipping & Returns
FAB SUPPLIER
The supplier undertakes to deliver the requested goods by 30 September 2019 at the latest, in accordance with the requirements of this document. All equipment and accessories must be new and of the 2019 model year or later.
Supplier evaluation
The RMC will evaluate the performance of suppliers and will not be required to award contracts to them for two (2) years following an unsatisfactory performance evaluation.
Penalties
However, the CGER reserves the right to apply all, part or none of the penalties in circumstances beyond the supplier's control.
Guarantees
Manufacturer's warranty
The equipment or covered item must be covered by the manufacturer's usual warranty, even if the requirements related to the minimum warranty required by this call for tenders are lower than those offered by the manufacturer's usual warranty. The supplier undertakes to comply with all the clauses of the manufacturer's usual warranty and must attach a written certificate of this warranty to his bid. A confirmation of all warranty registration documents with the various suppliers must be provided upon delivery.
In the event that a requirement greater than the manufacturer's usual warranty is required, this requirement that the supplier must meet in his offer will be indicated in the "Warranty" table in the "Specific Requirements" section.
Information on guarantees
The supplier must describe the applicable warranties on the equipment that the CGER wants to acquire and must provide with its bid written proof of the warranties mentioned.
Minimum guarantee required: Basic manufacturer's basic for all goods. This coverage must cover parts and labour, and this, without any deductible amount.
Purchase option
Acquisition of two (2) Trailer Impact Mitigators that comply with the characteristics listed in the detailed description of the deliverables to be provided, but without any optional equipment.
The call option price must be valid for a period of 120 calendar days after the filing and closing date of the bids.
Delivery MANUFACTURER SUPPLIER
Delivery must be made no later than 90 calendar days after the order form is issued
If the CGER decides to acquire them, the items purchased under the call options will be the subject of a purchase order (CL-DL) that will be issued to the supplier.
The CGER does not undertake to acquire any call options mentioned in this document.
The call options will have the same features and are equipped with the bracket and arrow.

Award of the contract
The CGER will select the bid with the lowest TOTAL COMPLIANCE price
The Department does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any other bid, and therefore, to issue an order.
DISTRIBUTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS:
SEAO distributes the tender documents.
The bidder must make a direct request to SEAO to obtain these documents.
