Description
This call for tenders aims at establishing a service allowing EMSA to offer to the beneficiary countries, upon users' request, underwater surveys through observation-class remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) supporting evidence collection in accident investigation and other activities within the Agency's remit. Deliverables include the provision of underwater videos, pictures and other evidence gathered by ROV's sensors concerning damaged ships, wrecks, equipment, cargo, underwater topography, consequences to the environment, damages to port/offshore infrastructures, submerged objects etc. and recovering small debris. The contract also includes the development and delivery of ROV familiarisation sessions for users.
Considering the ceiling of the future contract and as to benefit from the widest level of competition, the open procedure was chosen.
