Description

BACKGROUND
The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) des Laurentides was created on April 1, 2015, following the merger of 13 separate institutions with a total of 80 facilities. The territory covers 20,533 km 2, and serves a population of 595,000 people.
The organization has 13,500 employees, 390 management positions, more than 1,000 physicians and 1,100 volunteers. Sixteen directorates share responsibility for providing health care and services to the entire Laurentian population.
Specialized medical care is available throughout the Laurentians region, as well as to part of the population of the Lanaudière and Laval regions. The clinical needs are currently very high and these are putting pressure on our existing facilities.
Construction and renovation work must be carried out regularly to maintain buildings to standards and in good condition and to adapt the facilities to new technologies and medical practices. This work is funded by the budget envelopes for asset maintenance and functional renovations.
The directorate responsible for managing construction projects at CISSS des Laurentides is the Technical Services Directorate. The Construction Department monitors construction projects through a team of building consultants, architectural technicians and draftsmen, under the supervision of the Chief of Construction Department.
MANDATE
The CISSS des Laurentides wishes to retain the professional services of an architectural firm to provide them with the mandate to modify the pneumatic transport system for most of the departments of the St-Jérôme hospital.
FEES
As defined in Decree 2402-84.
To carry out this mandate, the CISSS des Laurentides will request hourly rate proposals for surveys, plans and specifications and services during construction.
