Description
The IRE is the world's leading producer of radioisotopes for medical use. In order to ensure the continuity of future deliveries, a new plant will be built, with a first line coming into operation in 2024 and a second in 2028. It will produce Mo-99 via reaction of energetic photons (generated by a powerful linear electron accelerator) on a Mo-100 target. The Mo-99 thus produced will be chemically treated and dosed, according to the client's needs, in "hot" cells. To this end, the IRE needs a project manager to monitor this investment, which will include a research and development phase (in progress), a manufacturing phase, an integration phase and the licensing of the production process (pre-licensing process). The duration of the mission is initially set for a period of 18 months, corresponding to the "proof of concept" phase. This can be extended for subsequent phases. The financial conditions will then be reassessed using the revision formula provided for in the contract. In addition to the usual areas related to a production site, the technologies brought together in the process use: high voltage, magnetism, high frequency, vacuum technology, ion beams, cryogenic cooling, cooling of molten metals, handling of radioactive substances...The usual activities of a project manager are:- organise the project team,- set up the rules of governance,- ensure coordination of internal and external stakeholders (customer, suppliers, partners),- organise progress and coordination meetings,- participate in design studies and optimise technical solutions,- ensure that products comply with specifications and safety and security standards,- carry out end-of-contract reviews and feedback,- manage the schedule and budget,- manage and anticipate project risks and contingencies,- communicate on the progress of the project, feed the monitoring dashboards and report regularly by identifying the risks incurred,- participate in the establishment of consultation files, analysis of offers, markets and service orders.Presence on site: the consultant must be present several days a week on the Fleurus site. The consultant will also be required to travel for working days to the various partners and suppliers, particularly in the Netherlands and Germany. Travel costs within Belgium will be borne by the consultancy company. Foreign travel expenses and accommodation costs (regardless of location) will be reimbursed on the basis of a declaration of actual expenses.
