Description

The RP3.0TP1 project will enable the implementation of automated workflows for the productions of MDR Aktuell (TV) and MDR um 2. This is directly dependent on the procedure and schedule of the project for the introduction of a cross-media editing system RESY, which is already in the implementation phase. This project will replace the "iNews" editorial system currently in use with a new one based on Scisys OpenMedia. From a technical point of view, the Scisys OpenMedia systems and the RP3.0TP1 systems for automation (Vizrt Viz Mosart) as well as the Scisys Studio Director as the basis of an automated production are very closely interdependent. A delay in the RESY project means a very high risk for this project, which is why MDR decided to share the contract. The first part (Part A) covers all services, referred to as basic services, which can be ordered and implemented independently of the RESY project. The second part (Part B) contains the services which are dependent and therefore cannot yet be conclusively assessed with regard to the execution date. These are summarised as options. Please refer to II.2.11.Product specifications for further details. Due to the nature of the service to be awarded, it is justified to explicitly prescribe certain products. A list of all set devices as well as corresponding explanations can be found in the document Description of Services (Annex B) Item 2.1.4). as well as in the Bidder's Declaration Price (Annex A1).In this notice, only the essential products Regieautomation (1) and LAWO Mixer (2) shall be specifically addressed.(1) Regieautomation - Vizrt (Viz Mosart)For this purpose, the contracting authority has carried out a market survey in the form of manufacturer audits as well as research at trade fairs and specialist events. According to this, only the automation software from Vizrt (Viz Mosart) fully meets the requirements of the client,(2) LAWOE's audio system, a system comparison was made between the two systems that came into question for the client. According to this, the advantages of the LAWO product outweigh the disadvantages in terms of use, operation, functionality, flexibility, product development and user-friendliness.
