Description

"The Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government (DHPLG) holds responsibility for the strategic delivery of housing in the Republic of Ireland as well as oversight of the key mechanism for the delivery of social housing by local authorities (LAs) and approved housing bodies (AHBs). Along with housing, DHPLG is responsible for a number of other areas, some of which are inter-related and co-dependent on one another for success.

Currently DHPLG operates a complex and fractured ICT environment which is inefficient and does not support their processes adequately. In addition, their current solutions are neither as secure nor as resilient as required.

DHPLG intends to go to market with an RFT when their business requirements are fully defined and agreed. In order to inform the definition of these requirements this RFI is being published to gather market information regarding potential solutions.
